FJMG Automobile Engineering Research Institute (“AERI”) was established in 2010 and now has registered capital of 30 million RMB. In 2013, it was awarded the title of “High-Tech Enterprise”. It is the largest and highest-level independent R&D base for automobile technology across the Taiwan Straits.
AERI integrates R&D resources of six automakers under FJMG to build “1+6” independent R&D innovation alliance for the automotive industry. The minivans QT M70 and its engine designed and developed by AERI were respectively rated as “Domestically Advanced” and “Domestically Leading” by National Development and Reform Commission in 2013. In 2015 and 2016, AERI assisted Fujian New Longma Automotive Co., Ltd (“NLM”) to develop MPV QT EX80 and SUV QT60, both of which received high praise from consumers. AERI also develops multifunctional buses for Xiamen King Long Motor Group Co., Ltd (“KLM”).
