With technologic advantages and global cooperation resources in bus field, King Long stepped the exploration of new urban public transit and developed series of environmental-friendly public transit and low-floor buses, and led the bus rapid transit field and developed the China’s first 18m BRT bus to explore more perfective solution for future urban public transport.

In response to the characteristics of diversified market segments and needs of users, King Long developed diversified coach models from 6m to 14m to meet the demands of high-speed passenger transportion, medium and short distance passenger transportation, tourist transportation, commuter, urban passenger transportation, inter-city and rural transportation.

Since development of first lead-acid battery based hybrid bus in 2001, King Long till now boasts about 20 years of new energy bus development experiences. At present, King Long incorporates a complete product line in coverage of 6-12m buses, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric models, with product sales volume hitting more than 6,500 vehicles.

As a leading bus manufacturer in the industry, King Long boasts its rich experiences in terms of the R&D and manufacture of school bus. In China market, King Long launched 6m, 8m, and 10m special school bus in succession, which were widely praised by customer. Meanwhile, King Long school bus were also exported in batch to Australia, Italy, and other countries, the quality is renowned in the world.

Besides focusing on the mainstream market, King Long also developed the special use vehicles, including commercial vehicle, prison bus, library bus, blood collecting bus, mobile physical examination bus, ambulance, and emergency command bus, which extensively serve in hotel, aviation, medical treatment and healthcare, and public security industries, bring the philosophy of serving public transit to every market segment.

To complete product lineup and serve in transport industry more thoroughly, King Long invested and constructed the mini-van production line in 2007. Centering on three family products, Kingwin, Kingo, and Kingte, King Long launched diversified products, including vehicle coach, mini city bus，logistics vehicle, police vehicle, ambulance, and library van to meet the demands of diversified market segments.
