Xiamen King Long Motor Group Co., Ltd (“KLM”) is founded in 1988 with current registered capital of 606.7 million RMB, and has been listed on the Shanghai stock exchange market since 1993. FJMG owns 29.12% of KLM’s share and is the controlling shareholder.
KLM is the world's largest bus and coach production and export enterprise, which has complete vehicle enterprises including Xiamen King Long United Automotive Co., Ltd, Xiamen Golden Dragon bus Co., Ltd, King Long United Automotive (Suzhou) Co., Ltd and Xi’an King Long Bus Co., Ltd and other companies of components, such as Xiamen Golden Dragon auto body Co., Ltd etc. KLM has annual output capacity of 50,000 large and medium-sized buses and coaches, and 30,000 minivans. The main bus brands are King Long, Golden Dragon and Higer, which are sold not only all over China domestic market but also more than 140 countries around the world such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Russia and Europe etc. In 2006 and 2015, King Long and Higer brands were successively rated as "China well-known trademark". In the field of new energy buses and coaches, KLM has ranked the forefront in domestic market.
In order to accelerate the future development, in 2016, KLM started the new production base in Longhai district of Zhangzhou city, which is outside Xiamen city. The project covers an area of nearly 5000 acres with planning a total investment of 7 billion RMB. The new modern production base is forecasting with the annual capacity of 30,000 large and medium-sized buses and coaches (including the new energy vehicles) and 100,000 minivans, and EIC system of new energy vehicles and other key components as well. This project has obtained investment support from the fund of China Development Bank.
